SANYANG UK ASSOCIATION 2019 RAMADAN SUGAR CAMPAIGN

We collectively raised s massive £560 for this year’s Ramadan Sugar

donations.

The total sum equivalent to D35,380 Gambian Dalasis (£1=D63) was

sent to our Volunteers on the ground, received by Buba Bojang.

A total of 23 bags of sugar at unit price of D1400 each was purchased

totalling D32,200. The remaining D3080 dalasis was used for carrier

bags and transport for the distribution.

The distribution took place last week Friday 17 May 2019 (2nd Friday

if Ramadan).18 bags was distributed among the 6 Central Mosques

and the remaining 5 bags partitioned and distributed among selected

needy people in the Village including the old, the sick and bedridden

and disabled family heads and breadwinners.
